Our Special Care Unit is a secured unit designed for persons who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia. Residents orient themselves to their surroundings and are able to ambulate independently throughout the unit. The Special Care Unit and its staff provide safety and security with a consistent yet flexible routine of care. Spacious enclosed grounds adjoin this living area, allowing residents the freedom of going outdoors as they like. Special activities, both on and off the unit, are planned to fulfill the social and physical needs of the residents.
