Support Services

The availability and services of special support personnel play an important role in the care we give to our residents. Registered nurses, a registered dietician, a chaplain, a social service director and an activity director are on staff, while a dentist, licensed social worker, and pharmacist consult regularly.

The Social Services Department coordinates with other departments at the Home to ensure all residents’ needs are met. These services may include: library visits, chaplain or clergy visits, eye care, hearing or dental exams, hospice services, discharge services for residents who are returning home, voter registration, address changes, writing or contacting family and friends, shopping services, and more. Social Services also makes sure residents and families are informed of their rights, and helps address concerns or questions regarding their care.

Our therapy and short-term rehabilitation center is open to all residents and the community. The Center offers a wide variety of services including physical, occupational, and speech/language therapies. Programs are also available to those persons who would benefit from exercise and therapy in our warm water pool in the Watson Aquatic Center.
