Good Samaritan Home is seeking the right person who will coordinate and oversee all aspects of fundraising for the Home & Foundation. Bachelor’s degree in related field is required. 3-5 years of experience in fundraising and experience directing a capital campaign is preferred.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
Primary responsibilities include:
- Oversee and maintain donor database.
- Maintain day-to-day donor relations, including processing donations and sending thank you letters.
- Plan and implement annual comprehensive development program that meets the goals of the Board of Directors, CEO, and CFO.
- Supervise Assistant Director of Development.
- Grow a major gifts program including identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donors.
- Direct annual fund program, including mailings and fundraising drives.
- Build planned giving program with focus on deferred gifts, such as bequests.
- Researches potential sources of, and applies for, grants and public funding.
- Communicate with current and prospective donors on a routine basis to steward good donor relations.
- Oversee grant-seeking program, including identifying applicable grants, research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements.
- Direct capital campaigns and other major fundraising drives.
- Develop a recognition program for donors.
- Develop fundraising plans to meet the needs of future projects, as outlined in strategic plan, to help ensure the Home’s long-term financial health.
- Evaluate changing trends in philanthropy and tax regulations to develop new programs.
- Plan and implement any special fundraising events.

Job Description: This person will oversee and coordinate care in our nursing facility. Responsible for managing, supervising and assisting the nursing staff, as well as providing administrative support and patient care. Must have 1 year of management experience in healthcare or 2 years of experience in healthcare. Must have the ability to think critically and have strong assessment and management skills. A love of the elderly and compassionate personality is a must. Weekend, holiday and on-call rotation required.
Rate of Pay: $30.10-$32.10
Hours: Need individual to work 6:30pm-7am and/or 10:30pm-7:00am
Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Rate of Pay: $34.10-$36.10

Full-time, Monday-Friday, Primarily 6:30am-3:00pm
Starting base pay $16.85 plus:
- an additional $.10/hr for every year of experience up to 20 years
Job Description: Primary responsibility is scheduling and ensuring appropriate staffing levels for our nursing department. Candidate must be very detail oriented, able to multi-task, have excellent phone and people skills, extremely organized, and have good computer knowledge.

Full-time & Part-time, Hours available 6:30am-3:00pm, 6:30am-7:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm, 10:30pm-7:00am, and 6:30pm-7:00am.
Our nurses provide professional care to assigned residents in a nursing home environment. Records resident histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops resident care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Observes residents’ progress and records observations in medical records.
Day LPN pay: $21.40 - $23.40
Day RN pay : $28.10 - 30.10
Evening LPN pay: $26.40 - $28.40
Evening RN pay : $33.10 - $35.10
Night LPN pay: $26.40 - $28.40
Night RN pay : $33.10 - $35.10
Full-time & Part-time,
Days (6:00am-6:30pm), every other weekend required
Evenings (2:30pm-11:00pm), every other weekend required
Nights (6:30pm-7:00am), every other weekend required
Also, looking for an individual to work our weekend program. Work every weekend 6:00am-6:30pm and receive an additional 8 hours of pay a week.
Duties: As a CNA, you will work closely with our residents, providing basic care and assisting them with personal hygiene and daily living needs. CNA’s also providing comfort, transportation, and are responsible for monitoring vital signs.
Day CNA pay: $16.40 - $18.40
Evening and Night CNA pay: $20.05 - $22.05

Seasonal Summer Grounskeeper
The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Seasonal Summer Groundskeeper to join our growing team! The primary purpose of your position is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Lead Groundskeeper and Director of Maintenance.
This is a seasonal position only. Great opportunity for a high school or college student. Full-Time, Day hours. Monday - Friday

Seasonal Youth Corp Coordinator
The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Youth Corp Coordinator to join our growing team! The primary purpose of your job position is to help assure quality of life for each resident on an individual basis and to plan, develop, organize, and direct the Youth Corps Volunteer Program.
This is a seasonal position only. Must be 18 years of age. Great opportunity for a high school or college student. Full-Time, Day hours. Monday - Friday
Rate of Pay: $14.50 - $16.50
Full-Time, 6:00AM - 2:30PM, every other weekend required

Duties: This individual will serve the breakfast and lunch meal to our residents in accordance with stafe and federal guidelines.
Job Summary: The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the basic hair care needs of the residents in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by resident or family members to assure that everyone is happy with the results.
Part-Time, 3 days a week, 24 hours a week, Monday-Friday, hours are 7:30AM - 4:00 PM. State of Illinois Cosmotologist license required.
Rate of Pay: $14.50 - $16.50
