CFO/Associate Administrator: The CFO/Associate Administrator assists the CEO/Administrator in managing the daily operations of Good Samaritan Home. The person in this position will direct the accounting operations in accordance with all current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Other duties include supervising accounting personnel, and overseeing and being accountable for all financial operations of the facility. Certified Public Accountant is highly preferred with at least 5 years of experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field. Candidates must be willing to obtain an IL Nursing Home Administrator’s license if not already obtained. Salary negotiable based upon education, certification, and experience.

Director of Pastoral Services/Chaplain: We are seeking a highly motivated, professional Chaplain to serve as the Director of Pastoral Services and Spiritual Care. Candidates should be ordained and have at least three years of chaplaincy/ministry experience. History of service in the United Church of Christ preferred. Duties include providing pastoral care and religious support to our residents. Responsible for coordinating and conducting liturgical services.

RN Resident Care Coordinator: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate care in our nursing facility. The person in this position is responsible for managing, supervising and assisting the nursing staff, as well as providing administrative support and patient care. Must have 1 year of management experience in healthcare or 2 years of experience in healthcare. Must have the ability to think critically and have strong assessment and management skills. A love of the elderly and compassionate personality is a must. Weekend, holiday and on-call rotation. Hourly base rate: $26.85 plus shift differentials, weekend premiums, and experience pay.

RN/LPN: Full-time & Part-time, evenings and nights
Our nurses provide professional care to assigned residents in a nursing home environment. Records resident histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops resident care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Observes residents’ progress and records observations in medical records. RN base rate: $24.85. LPN base rate: $18.15. Plus shift differentials, weekend premiums, and experience pay.

CNA: Full-time & Part-time, nights (10:30 pm-7:00 am)
As a CNA, you will work closely with our residents, providing basic care and assisting them with personal hygiene and daily living needs. CNA’s also providing comfort, transportation, and are responsible for monitoring vital signs. CNA base rate: $12.40. Plus shift differentials, weekend premiums, and experience pay.

CNA/Rehab Aide: Full-time, 6 am-2:30 pm
This position’s main focus is to perform the role of the CNA and helps with our restorative programs. CNA base rate: $12.40. Plus shift differentials, weekend premiums, and experience pay.

Geri-Aide: Part-time, 4-8 pm or Full-time, 6:30 am-3 pm
This position helps our nursing staff with non-direct patient care. This includes helping with transportation, activities, meal service and passing supplies to residents. Advancement opportunities through the CNA program. Perfect for those wanting to get started with a healthcare career.

Dietary Aide: Full-time, days or Part-time days and evenings available
The Dietary Aide is responsible for the proper delivery of meals and nutrients at scheduled times and places while assisting in sanitary maintenance of the assigned work area.

Dishwasher: Full-time & Part-time, days and evenings available
The person in this position will help maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards of the dining room. They will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and storing dishes and equipment.

Floor Care Technician: Full-time, 2:30 pm-11 pm Mon-Fri
The person in this position performs overall floor care (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing) of areas throughout the facility, as well as furniture shampooing.

Mechanical Maintenance: Full-time, 8 am-4:30 pm, weekend rotation required
The person in this position must have knowledge and experience with minor plumbing and electrical systems, electronics, circuit boards, and patient lift equipment. Must be 25 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

Groundskeeper: Full-time, Daytime Hours, Summer only
Responsible for mowing grass, trimming and pruning trees and shrubs, and removing yard waste throughout the campus.
