We will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary with a fundraising gala on Oct. 20, 2017 at the Oakley Lindsay Center. The event will start at 6 pm. Tickets will be $60 per person. There are also opportunities for individuals to give at the Benefactor ($500) and Patron ($250) levels to receive special recognition in the program. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Good Samaritan Home Foundation, which directly supports the Home and our residents by funding facility updates, special projects and activities.
The event will feature a short program commemorating the legacy of the Home. We will be recognizing those who have been instrumental to the Home’s success. Individual honorees will be Carla Derrick, Dennis Williams, and Bill and Joyce Winn. Corporate honoree will be Integrated Technology Associates. Kent Adams and Laura McReynolds of Adams & McReynolds Retirement Partners will be the Masters of Ceremonies for the evening.
The event will also feature live entertainment from a professional dueling piano group out of the Chicago area, Felix and Fingers. The menu for the night will consist of heavy hor d’oeuvres, catered by local favorite, Thyme Square. There will be a cash bar. There will also be a silent auction and basket raffle, as well as several other opportunities to donate and special surprises throughout the evening. Put on your favorite piece of denim and your shiniest diamond, as we celebrate the history of Good Samaritan Home and build a strong future together.
