Good Samaritan Home is a Life Plan Community. This means that we provide all levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care on the same campus. If your need increases, Good Samaritan Home provides a smooth transition with convenient access to higher levels of personalized care. You or your loved one will not have to search for a new facility to meet your changing needs.


Assisted Living

Assisted Living in Stevenson Manor and Sheltering Grove caters to the individual who may need a little extra help from day to day. All meals, utilities, weekly housekeeping, 24-hour emergency call system, activities and amenities are included. These rooms are unfurnished so residents can make it feel like home.

In Stevenson Manor, choose from four sizes of apartments that include a kitchenette and a shower in each room. Additional support services are also available. Nursing staff are available to assist with emergencies, medication administration, and other needs. This allows residents and their families reassurance and security.


Nursing Care

Good Samaritan Home’s Intermediate and Skilled Care offer 24-hour, top quality nursing care by licensed professional. Good Samaritan Home is Medicare A & B certified to provide full care, and our staff receives continuing education to help them provide the quality care you deserve. Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence on those activities they can do for themselves.


Dementia Care

We offer specialized care for those with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias in The Foose Center neighborhood. This area offers a more secure environment with specifically trained staff provide programs and services designed for the particular needs of the person with moderate to sever memory loss.


Wings & End-of-life Comfort Care

Wings provides physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support for individuals. The program is dedicated to providing compassionate care for residents and families. There are many similarities to Wings and hospice. Those who select Wings will continue to have the same staff that have been caring for them at Good Samaritan home. An individual’s daily schedule will be maintained as much as possible. There is also no outside evaluation or additional paperwork to enroll in the program. Good Samaritan Home residents may also enroll in hospice.
