Fun Christmas Facts to get YOU in the Holiday Spirit!

-The longest running Santa Claus Parade happens every year in Peoria, Illinois. It’s happened every holiday season since 1888!

-“Rocking Around The Christmas Tree” was a classic holiday hit recorded by Brenda Lee back in 1958. Lee was only 13 years old at the time!

-Brazil set the record for the world’s largest floating Christmas Tree at a staggering 278 feet, with over 3 million lights, back in 2007.

-There is a Christmas Tree in Spain worth $15 million dollars! The tree is decorated with red, black, white, and pink diamonds and jewelry from Bulgari, Cartier, and Chanel.

-Eggnog dates back to medieval times! It comes from a drink called posset made with sweetened & spiced milk with ale or wine mixed in and served hot!

–Home Alone is the highest grossing Christmas movie of all-time, earning nearly 286 million at the box office. How The Grinch Stole Christmas sits at number 2 with 260 million.
