Christmastime Memorial Service – From Chaplain Josh
Good Samaritan Home’s Annual Christmastime Memorial Service is on Thursday, December 10th at 6:00 PM.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be able to have people attend in-person this year, but will instead stream the service live on the Good Samaritan Home of Quincy Facebook Page.  We will provide ornaments with the names of each resident who died in the past year, unless the family prefers to provide their own.

This service is also open to anyone who would like us to remember a loved one in this way no matter when they passed away or where. To include other loved ones in this service, please call Chaplain Josh Vahle at 217-223-8717 x4491 and leave a message with your name and phone number and your loved one’s name and date of passing.

It is difficult to celebrate God’s gift and enjoy family traditions at this time of year when you are also grieving. My hope is that this service will help you in some way to acknowledge your loss and grief and strengthen your faith in the God who sent you his greatest gift. May God’s peace sustain you now and forever in the hope given to us through His Son Jesus Christ. – Chaplain Josh
