Services provided at the Front Desk
By: Sarah Dolbeare, Director of Cottage Admissions/Executive Secretary

I am pleased to introduce the ladies who work at the Front Receptionist Desk. Our Lead Receptionist is Nancy. She works 7 am-3:30 pm through the week. Our Evening Receptionist, Peggy works 3 pm-10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Kathy and Emily switch off working every other weekend, 7 am-3:30 pm. Cheryl works every weekend from 3 pm-10:30 pm. Janet and Maxine are backup receptionists that serve as needed.

These ladies are continuously busy answering phones and selling meal tickets, stamps, cards, placemats, and garbage stickers. They also help with sign-ups for activities, distribute paystubs to staff, assist with mailing packages, make reservations for the Perry Suite, hand out employment applications and admission packets, offer information and directions for guests and residents, make copies for people (10¢) per copy, and much more!

In addition to the receptionists, Lee is our Lead Mailman who works Monday-Friday sorting and delivering mail. Janet sorts our mail on Saturday.

We are very fortunate to have such a fantastic team of people here to assist you. They are an excellent resource and source of information here at the Home. Next time you have a question, give the front desk a call!

Prayer Request and Scripture

This week we are praying for the residents in the Cottages and for the Physical Therapy staff.

Our Scripture of the Week is Zechariah 4:6: “This is God’s Message…: ‘You can’t force these things. They only come about through my Spirit,’ says God-of-the-Angel-Armies.”

Weekly Inspiration

“Work like you don’t need money, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no one is watching.” – Randall Leighton

Save the Date

Mark your calendars! Our Annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast will be held on Saturday, March 9. Look for more information in next week’s Patter!

Birthday Celebration for Isabelle Hillerts
