Thanksgiving Prayer
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” – Psalm 100

Thanksgiving Placemats
Craft-paper placemats are available at the main entrance reception desk to pick up and decorate for our residents. Thanksgiving decorated placemats must be turned back in to the receptionist no later than Sunday, November 22nd.

Resident Council
Resident Council will still be held on Tuesday, November 24th. However, since resident council is a gathering of more than 10 individuals, we are not able to hold a formal meeting due to regulations put in place because of COVID-19. In place of resident council, each unit’s social services aide/activity aide will ask each resident if they have any concerns/comments they would have liked to voice during resident council.

Laugh of the Week
Why did the police arrest the turkey?
They suspected it of fowl-play!

Weekly Inspiration

“I always did something I was a little not ready to do. I think that’s how you grow. When there’s that moment of ‘Wow, I’m not really sure I can do this,’ and you push through those moments, that’s when you have a breakthrough.” – Marissa Mayer

Scripture & Prayer Request

Romans 10:9-10
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes and is justified and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
